Posting for my Aunt Carrie. Thank you so much."Hello, my name is Carrie Moore. I am writing this letter in humble gratitude and appreciation for all the outstanding men and women that work for Paul's Heating and Air Conditioning, as well as the company Lennox. I am not the greatest writer but I'll try my best! Know this comes from my heart. - I showed Mitch around and told him about my furnace not working and what other companies had said. After a long and thorough inspection, Mitch and I had a long talk about what he found and what the next step would be. He showed me a pamphlet for the company Lennox that they work with for HVAC. I asked what the cost would be and he told me. I burst into tears. I said to Mitch there was no way I could afford that, I couldn't spend $80 for a space heater from Walmart let alone thousands of dollars. Mitch was very patient with me and listened to my situation: the recent loss of my beloved husband, the flood that happened the morning before Thanksgiving, dealing with insurance companies, and not knowing what I was going to do for heat this year. Mitch really listened to me. I can't tell you how much that means to me.I respectfully told him that I couldn't afford the services, but I appreciated him coming out and doing such a wonderful job with the inspection. What I didn't know was that Mitch went back to Paul's Heating and Air Conditioning and talked to his father Pete. He told him about my husband passing away, the Thanksgiving flood, and the mess that was left outside after the flood. Piles of wood, old decking, and flooring that was torn out. I was so worried about the financial toll removal would take. With my limited income, I was questioning whether I would be able to even stay in my home.Unbeknownst to me, Mitch and his father Pete nominated me for the Feel the Love program, where Paul's Heating and Air Conditioning, in partnership with Lennox, donate new HVAC systems to community members in need. All I can say is what a blessing. As if that was not enough, a crew of around 15 amazing, dedicated, hard-working men and women showed up to my home with trailers, gloves in hand, and went to work installing the HVAC system. The rest went to work on clearing away all the mess outside. All of these compassionate people went above and beyond. Even Mitch's stepfather Dave donated chili from Culver's, as he is the owner of the south side La Crosse location.I can't think All the wonderful people involved with this blessing enough but I will try to.Mitch - You listen to me. You were so understanding. You made me feel like I was talking to a friend. To Pete, owner of Paul's Heating and Air Conditioning - I will never be able to thank you enough for this blessing and your dedication to your business, the people that work for you, and the community as a whole. You and your employees gave your time and energy and what means so much more is that you made me feel like a part of the family.Evan - you were and are so comforting and you took the time to explain everything, and on top of it all making sure my gas tank was filled up. Thank you so much.To Julie, who sat with me and talked like we had been friends forever. Finding out we both knew a family member on my mother's side was so neat.To all the other men and women who work tirelessly helping to clean out my yard, hook up my dishwasher, and help with other electrical work thank you all very much for what you did for me and what you all do by giving back to the community; it makes us all feel a part of the Paul’s Heating and Air Conditioning family.I truly can Feel the Love.Thank you and God bless you all,Carrie Moore
